Specific Entrance Requirements: 
  • Have a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
    Or
  • If student hasn't completed high school, student needs to pass "Wonderlic Test", a superintendent approved qualifying test. Contact the Academy to set up an appointment to do this test.
  • Film Academy Students must provide the Application Form (download Word file or PDF file) together with a written Statement advising the Academy why they wish to train in Digital Filmmaking and Television Production programtogether with a Letter of Reference (not from a family member).
  • Film Academy students may be called for an interview to meet with the Director for Digital Filmmaking and Television Production program. For students outside Ontario an interview may be set up on SKYPE. If student has a portfolio of any previous film works Academy will ask student to upload to the internet for viewing and provide password to Youtube account or Vimeo account.

You can submit the application form by clicking for the Word file or PDF file to fill out the application form and submit to the Academy along with the non-refundable application fee of $150.00 CDN. Fee to be paid either by cheque, money order or credit card. If paying by credit card please contact the Academy with the credit card information after you have filled out the application form either online, by PDF or Word file.
